A new film, “Against All Odds: Putting Ukraine on the Financial Map,” documents the important role USAID played over a 20 year period to develop Ukraine’s capital markets infrastructure. The documentary film highlights the obstacles overcome by Ukrainian entrepreneurs in creating stock exchanges, investment firms, securities depositories, and information disclosure systems, assisted at critical junctures by U.S. technical assistance.
