DGF The Project focuses on providing technical assistance to the Deposit Guarantee Fund to help it transform from a purely “paybox” function to “a paybox with extended powers”. A draft DGF law contemplates that the DGF will take responsibility for provisional administration, resolution and liquidation of financial institutions. To facilitate the transition the project, among other activities, will support legal drafting of implementing regulations for the transition to the new DGF; prepare an assessment of information technology needs for the DGF with recommendations for enhancements; prepare an assessment of DGF training needs, including a recommended program for both short-term and long-term training needs with the emphasis on enhanced powers based on FDIC (USA) operations; and provide HR consulting assistance for implementing DGF organizational changes.      EVENTS February 15-17, 2011; Kyiv.
